Angular Error - module AppModule was bootstrapped, but it does not declared

Pooja Goel  |   Dec 12, 2019  |  Views: 1008

Description:

Your Error:

Error: The module AppModule was bootstrapped, but it does not declare "@NgModule.bootstrap" components nor a "ngDoBootstrap" method.
Please define one of these.

Angular module needs a Component for its starting loading of default routing.

NgModule decorator has a metadata named "bootstrap" which takes one or more component as array, those component are needed for the loading of default route.

@NgModule({
...
bootstrap:[AppComponent]
...
})

What to analyse first

Check - You have placed the correct selector tag on index.html
Check - You have added the same component in bootstrap array in NgModule
Check - You have correctly named your component and selector in index.html and NgModule.bootstrap array

Solution:

Here we have to pass the default component whose selector is being defined on the index.html.
