For a business to be successful in today's era, have to be online due to tremendous increase in the number of internet users day by day.

Whole world is growing in terms of technologies. In this situation a business  should have their presence in the internet to increase their customer count.

If you are also a business person and thinking to be online, you will need 3 things with you:

A website - Describing about your business, services, products.
A Domain Name - Domain name should justify your business and easily remember-able to anyone.
A Hosting Space - A place where your website files and images will be kept and your domain name will be pointed to that files location.

When you have these things ready , your business is now online.

When dealing with a hosting space we should be clear about two things:

1. User traffic estimation:

If you website is a startup, you are expecting a low traffic at first stage, so you can start with the shared hosting.
If not, then you have to choose other hosting types from below.

2. Technical knowledge about hosting:

If you don't have knowledge about hosting and technology the go for shared hosting, which will be convenient for your startup website, otherwise go for Managed hosting if you have large traffic website with you.

1. Shared hosting:

This type of hosting is for the
- Starter websites who have low users traffic.
- Personal use of website
- Company website

These types of hosting server shares the same CPU (Central Processing Unit) and RAM (Random Access Memory) for all the websites hosted on same server.

For a website RAM,CPU performance is the important thing to be kept in mind before buying a web hosting server.

A large amount of processing website or high traffic website will not sustain this type of shared hosting.

This web hosting type is more easy and continent to manage and use , without any technical knowledge.

-Cheapest web Hosting

Cons:
-This web hosting can be down any time, if there happens any fault in the hardware of the server.

VPS is something which is not a private server but behaves like a private server with its assigned RAM and CPU processors.

In this VPS we have a space which don't share the full RAM and CPU of the server, but it have predefined allotted section of RAM and CPU to use.

So this is somehow better than a shared hosting server.

This also don't need much technical knowledge for set and hosting a website compared to a original private network.

-You cant' reboot your server.
-Don't have unique IP address for your website
-If the server goes down for the any reason, all the websites hosted on it will be down.

Cons:

- You need full technological knowledge for both the hosting and the hardware as well.
- This web hosting can be down any time, if there happens any fault in the hardware of the server.
