OLE DB Destination: By using OLE DB Connection Manager, This destination is used to load data into database.
Configuring OLE DB Destination :
Steps to Configure OLE DB Destination are following:
l Drag and Drop “Data Flow Task” from SSIS Toolbox in Control flow and double clicked on it.
l Once Clicked on data flow task, Drag drop OLE DB Source and OLE DB Destination from SSIS toolbox.
l Double click on this destination,OLE DB Destination Editor will open.
l Select data access mode property
Data Access mode has two property:
I. Table or view : This property is used to load data into Tables or views .
II. Table or view fast load : This property is used to load data into Tables or views and load data by using fast property.
III. Table name or View name variable: In this property,you need to provide the variable name for Table or Views.
IV. Table name or View name variable fast load: In this property,you need to provide the variable name for Table or Views and load data by using fast property.
V. SQL Command : This property is used to load data into database by using sql command.
l Select Table or View.
l Click on Mapping Button to check connectivity of Input columns and Output Columns.
l You can view the data by clicking on “View Existing data Button”.
l Now you can click on “Ok ” button to complete configuration of OLE DB destination.
l Now You can execute the package to load data into database.
l Open Sql Server to preview the data which loaded by using OLE DB Destination.
