What is depression? How to overcome it ? Tips to get rid of depression forever ?
Depression is a very generic problem, which almost everyone faces in their life, its a very dangerous issue for someone , it can take anyone's life also. So I am here to suggest some of my experiences and tips to overcome from it.
In today's competitive world, at every steps there are failure and success both. Some one gets success, where as others fails, at that situation we get depressed.
We all face that same situation in our way to the goal, some times we get more depressed which heavily affects our life, family and daily routines.
Those who thinks a lot or thinks negative, they basically have more chances to get in depression for a very small reason.
Depression can't be cured from any medicine, may be you get advice for any medicine, but it's not for depression.
There are some tips available , which can help you in overcoming depression.
1. Don't over think :
Thinking on the same topic over a long time period ,may be about the success and failure of the any task causes depression.
So just make your vision only, don't think much on it. Over thinking damages our health and mind both.
A over thinking person is always introvert and non social. He wants to spent time alone in thinking over failures.
So try to avoid these things in life.
2. Don't think negative :
A person who always thinks negative faces more depression compared to others. Negative thinking is very dangerous to life, work and health.
Negative thinking reduces our confidence power, which results in failure and depression.
3. Leave negative friends circles :
If you have friends or colleagues who are negative thinkers, avoid meeting them, change your friend's circle. Join some good people in your life, they will help you a lot in living happily.
4. Think about your good time :
Remember some good moments of your life, take a smile and try to forget the cause of current depression. Try to spent some time in that good moment.
5. Try to play with children :
If you have children around you, join them in their play and games, spent times with children , play with hem, talk to them. This will make you happy and also divert your mind to positiveness.
6. Listen some music :
Listening music is the best source of overcoming to depression, it deviates our mind to the entertaining mood. So make a hobby of listening your favorite songs and latest songs regularly.
7. Go for outings and hangout :
Go for outdoor outings and hangouts, change in the environment will change your mood and will make you happy, which will reduce your depression level.
8. Give time to your family :
Its better to give time to your family members rather than thinking over your failure. Keep yourself busy in spending good time with each family members.
9. Laugh a lot :
Try to laugh a lot, by seeing comedy videos, or by playing with children or by talking with best friends, which one is easily available, just do it.
Help others to laugh also.
10. Keep your self busy in any task :
Sitting blank is also the main reason for over thinking and depression, so try to fill your time gap, with some work. Don't sit blank doing nothing.
11. Deviate you mind from reason of depression :
Try to deviate your mind on other work or topic, by choosing any of the above described tips like outdoor hangouts, plying with children, listening musics etc.
12. If possible change your location or environment :
If its possible to relocate or change your location , do it. This will play a great role in overcoming from depression.
13. Spend time in green nature :
Green color is the sign of happiness, nature is green and you should spent time in nature in green places, this will help you in overcoming from depression.
14. Early to bed, early to rise :
Its a famous line, that we all should follow in daily routine. Sleeping on the time and rise in early morning, is good for health and mind. It keeps our mind sharp and fresh. You will feel very positive.
15. Take healthy diet :
A healthy and balance diet is good for health and mind, it helps a lot in reducing depression. Don't focus on the food you like, focus only on the balance diet, whether you like it or not.
16. Go for long vacation :
Plan a long holiday with family or friends. A long vacation will definitely help to overcome from depression, it will help your mind to think over some other things rather than the reason of depression.
17. Share your problem with others :
If you have friends and family members, who are trusted with you, you must need to share your problems with them. they will guide you and give you solutions to overcome from them.
18. Be social :
Don't become introvert and shy due to depression, keep yourself involved in social activities. Don't sit alone thinking over the problems and failures.
19. Keep Patience :
Everyone faces ups and downs in their life, but the situation always keeps changing time to time, may be you have currently a tough time , but in future you will a good time, So keep patience during this situation thinking that its a time only, it will change in some time.
20. Do Meditation and Yoga :
Consult with the yoga and mediation trainer, or join their school for daily practice. This will help a lot in diverting your mind from depression. Also will help in gaining a good health. You will become happy if you continuously do meditation or yoga.
Summary :
Its not easy to overcome from depression in a day only, it may take some days, week, month, year as per your depression saturation. But try tips to he tell to overcome as soon as possible. If you see anyone depressed near by you, either let him tell these tips or share some motivational articles to him , so that he can read and follow them to overcome from it.
